The Globe & Mail newspaper, chose to run a story across Canada, featuring several of the long-time radio broadcasters. Although they used another shot, this picture was taken by one of their photographers, at the 600 A.M. studio, where Wilf broadcasts live every Sunday Night.

Back in action at his Christmas
party is Wilf, following major "open heart surgery," consisting of
5 coronary bypasses and the replacement of a leaking mitral valve with a pig
valve. He's shown here happy to be alive. After 42 continuous years of broadcasting,
this is the first time Wilf's program was off the air, from December to May of
2007.
